I know we have a shotgun picture thread already, but as I was getting ready for a sporting clays shoot tomorrow I decided to snap some pics. Here's my target gun, it's a Winchester Select Energy Sporting 12ga with 32"bbls.
Preventative measure. I don't clean it as much as I should other than wipe off the old grease and swab the barrel and re-grease the chokes and action. It gets shot a lot and even as good of a grease as the Shooter's Choice is, after a couple hundred rounds in one hot Texas day it tends to break down and allow a gritty buildup. So I grease it until it actually squeezes out of the action when closed and wipe off the excess from the outside. I found out real quick that this Winchester kinda likes being wet with regards to the ejectors/extractors.
I had to be careful of the pic of the chokes, I didn't want to show too much of the front sight. It was loose when I bought it and flopped around like a beagle's ears.
