I dont know if anyone will find this as useful as I do. I am putting it up for anyone that wants it.

This spread sheet will calculate the charge needed for a given velocity as well as the cost per box of reloads and the savings over buying it retail.

You provide it powder type, bullet weight, max powder charge, and listed velocity (in FPS) from your reloading book. Then tell it the desired velocity (In FPS) and it will calculate the load data to reach the desired velocity. If you also provide your cost, such as amount of powder you bought and cost, amount of primers and cost, etc it will calculate the cost per box of ammo as well as the savings over retail.

It uses the standard calculation of the (square root of the square root of the desired vel/listed max) * (desired vel/listed max) * max load.

I am providing a copy in Microsoft XLS as well as Openoffice ODS formats.
    Enjoy!
