Springfield 1911 Stolen In North Houston

Well, I'm a little late on this since I'm new to the forum, but back in December I was having lunch at PF Changs at 1960 and 249 in NW Houston. Came out and was about to drive out of the parking lot when I realized something wasn't right. Stopped and started checking everything and realized that my console had been rummaged. While I was sipping on egg drop soup, some low life had put a screwdriver through my lock and had helped himself to my gun, full of DRT handloads. Left the spare mag behind along with my leather jacket and what he would have thought was a bottle of vodka (it was my water bottle that I take to crossfit...hehehehe), and the checkbook.

So here are the gun specs -

Springfield Armory 1911

.45 ACP

Blued finish

Stock brown grips

Serial number - N394095

I've been corrected, the grips are checkered walnut. :-)

HPD has a case open on it, and I have a buddy that works for Montgomery County that checks occasionally....he sold me the gun 9 years ago, and the day before it was stolen was trying to buy it back. I told him that as soon as I had one to replace it, I'd make him a sweet deal. If I get it back now, I think I'll just give it to him, LOL!

I checked your gun through one of my data bases without any activity. Will recheck every month or so as I can't do continual monitoring.
