Time to boycott Staples and put them out of business. In fact, I am boycotting Staples because they sell computers and computers are used in the child porn business, therefore Staples is an evil entity because they are contributing to child porn.....

This is the first comment to the article and it is spot on

.............and that coming from someone using a computer to post their comment????

He's making the point that almost any object can be used to commit crimes, thus showing the twisted irony of the policy of excluding a lawful gun business from entering the contest.

Computers can also be used for
stalking, harassment, threats of personal harm, computer intrusion (hacking), password trafficking, copyright piracy, theft of trade secrets, fraud, and bomb threats – to name just a few. Hell while we're at it computers can be used to buy guns that Staples believes are evil.

This is just using the liberal "logic" to refute their argument

That one's ok as long as it's liberals threatening anyone that disagrees with them.

I e-mailed Staples about this earlier today. Here's their reply from a customer service rep.…FWIW.

We heard you! At Staples, we value all of our customers and appreciate your feedback. We now realize
the rules of our Push It Forward contest were too restrictive and kept out legitimate businesses.
Unfortunately, we can?t change the rules once the contest is underway. But we will revise our rules
to make sure future contests are more inclusive and reflect our commitment to helping all small
    businesses.

I am in on a boycott. Wrote them a strongly worded but sans any threats letter. I did mention Marxist business practice. These people and companies spout tolerance and diversity yet they often practice the ABC's of religion (Anything But Christian) Now its ABG as well.
