So I'm about to start load workup for CFE223 and H335 under 55gr Dogtown HPs. CFE 223 is showing 26.0-28.0gr load range on the Nosler site. H335 shows 23.0-25.0gr on Noslers site. Oddly enough my Lyman 49th shows 24.3-27.0 for H335. Unfortunately Hodgons reloading center site is down atm (404 error

) so I can't check them. Will be using CCI 41s in LC brass.

I was wondering though if anyone has good starting points for these that would be likely to cycle my action, a 16" carbine gas with SA BCG and standard buffer and spring. I'd rather not waste my time/components with loads that are too light to cycle the action. Anyone got some good minimums with these two powders to start my ladder testing with?

H335 will cycle an AR down to 23.5 in my testing. It was a pathetic feel so I didn't chrono it.

Wow talk about some concise load data. Thanks a bunch man, that gives me a great place to start with H335.

Still so odd that there is such a huge discrepancy on the H335 data between Nosler and Lyman. I'm guessing Lyman is probably going to be the better data to look at though. Still not sure if I want to go all the way up to 27.0 gr but I guess I'll load up to that and just watch for usual pressure signs on the way.
