Good shoot. But that Trooper is going to have a bad time of it. He clearly didn't want the shooter to die. He tried to save him. The shooter was stupid. Bet he didn't think it would turn out that way.

The only thing I was a little surprised at - Trooper didn't call out the second suspect who fled on foot. I get it though, he was so focused on the threat of the shooter - I'm glad the 2nd kid just evaporated and didn't also come back with a gun. He didn't even mention the guy who fled on foot until other officers arrived and the EMS had taken the dead guy away.

When did you start suspecting? When the driver pulled over in the middle of an intersection and didn't put it in park?

Glad the trooper managed to immediately get out of the danger zone, arm himself and take a good shot to disarm the suspect.
Waiting for CNN to label this as "racist", "murder", "white privilege" and all the other usual buzz words.
Afterall, the suspect was "just a good kid".

I don't with death on anyone. Even criminals. But sometimes they choose wrong. This kid didn't have to die. But he made a choice that did not end up with him living. Nobody else to blame for that but him.
