Shooting Steel Challenge match at PSC today. I like the fact that we are members now and it only costs us $10 each plus ammo. We are shooting .22.

We’ve shot the first stage and I had a hard time seeing and hearing my shots/misses. I’m going to remember next stage to turn volume on the electronic earmuffs all the way up. Stupid car alarm going off with background noise didn’t help. I’m wanting to get my speed going better but that can’t come before accuracy, sigh.

And I’m normally very accurate when shooting paper (normally closer) but need to work on transitions and longer distance shooting, I guess.

I have never been told before I HAD to sign up at PSC online when I have shot before. Today they told me I MUST or email membership director if late. They allowed us to shoot today but must abide by that next time.

So it looks like they tightened up the policy.

Also, there is some new stage set up! “Twilight Zone.”
Not sure it’s official steel challenge or what.
