Hey Guys, Long time gunner, but new to here. Great place!!!

I'm the proud owner of an STI LS9 that is totally reliable. Nicely, very accurate for a snubby 9mm. I've read otherwise, but yet to see a broke one. Only nag I have is, the followers on the mags are TOO SHARP. I fixed them with a Kraton wheel/ dremel and some rouge.
It was the gateway to STI International for me. I love this gun. Being a native, of course I'd like to buy guns from my fellow Texans.

I'm buying my next STI soon. The Escort has my eye, right now. www.stiguns.com See complete guns in menu. It's as near to what I'd order if I was having one built...right down to the adjustable sights and FORGED aluminum frame. I would, however, prefer the sights to be buried into the slide. Still something I can live with.
    I think....

    My question to y'all is:
Does anyone carry one of these daily? Any owners that maybe have it in rotation? Anybody breaking one in?

Any Tactical model owners speak up too, as I like that one also.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
    Pete

I carry 4.15 tactical 45acp. and my truck gun is a tactical 5.0 40 s&w both have tritium front and rear. I have bomar rear on both and factory STI front. they are the most versitil pistols I have. from defense to target to hunting sidearm, add a surefire X-200 and lookout. I have a lot more STI 1911 and 2011 pistolsbut these are my favorite. Now the Escort. This is a nice little pistol. They are tough small light and pack punch. I do not own one of these but I have put several hundred rounds down range with quite a few of them. Good gun..

Hey BC, welcome from another newb. I appreciate the info on some other STI models. Thanks.

Man, I guess I'll end up with a herd of these things. So many fine specimens. Quality does speak for itself. I'm impressed.

The Guardian looks sweet, also. I hear....if you want some mods, they will accommodate in a build order, but it adds about 6 weeks lead time. + a little more $$$.
Do you or anyone else know? Fine as they are, I just gotta change something.....mostly adding buried night sights.
