Stolen hand gun threads would be useful if the readership were advised a bit more where (other than a town) the guns were stolen.

    Car? House? Apartment? Travel Trailer?

    Time of day?

    Be well.

For #4, that should be an XDM model.

XDM serial numbers start with MG

XD model numbers start with XD

    How does that help?

It allows the readership a further level of ghoulishness, provides segues into thread high jacks on topics from indignation to condemnation and generally heightens the entertainment factor while assisting law enforcement in recovery not at all.

But to your point, it doesn't help. Don't feed 'em.

Perhaps someone who lives in mansfield could put more together if they knew what time the incident occurred at, they could also tell their neighbors to be more alert during the day or evening or whatever.....or maybe someone might have another clue related to that time "now that I think about it I remember seeing that weird blue car at 2:30 when I stopped by home for lunch"

But apparently some here don't think that would be helpful :)

    How does that help?

Mirrors my initial thought. Honestly, it won't help in recovery.
It could help in future prevention of theft for the members here though.
I doubt if OP has all the details though, so, I'll keep my eyes open for the described arms.

When I post these notifications l must have permission from the investigator to release any details.

Sometimes it's a crucial fact that should not be shared.

Thanks for being our extra eyes and ears.
