Go the cheap and easy route. Buy a pack of Tile trackers, and stick 'em to the inside of the appliance cabinet somewhere. Not foolproof because they rely on crowdsourcing, but Tile is pretty much everywhere. There's a good chance someone will get close enough to get a location fix.
