Strange news at the VA today.

I went into the VA clinic here in town today because it felt like i had cracked a rib. It was strange that i was having that kind of pain since i had done anything that would cause me to crack a rib. So i went into the VA to see if they could figure it out. Turns out that i had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax. Turns out that it is very common in White males in their mid to late 20's. It is a minor pneumothorax and should correct itself. They told me to take 800mg of Ibuprofen 3 times a day for the pain and that if it gets worse or doesnt stop hurting in the next week to come back.

I cracked a rib with a sneeze a couple of years ago. I never knew you could do that. Was in some pretty intense pain for a month or so.

Busted ribs hurt like no other pain I can think of.

Tripped over the dog while walking down some steps on the deck.

We both tumbled to earth, and I landed on him.

We both had busted ribs, and the dog could not bark for weeks, and I could not cough or poop without great pain for a full month.
