A short stroke f1 engine probably has the same piston speed at 12k that or longer stroke normal motors have at 5. An f1 engine has 1.55 inches of stroke compared to a 350 with 3.5 inches. 12krpm and 5200rpms have the same piston speed respectively.

Shorter stroke, and lighter weight piston and internals allow higher redline by lowering piston speeds and increasing the allowable ultimate piston speeds.

She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought.What do you think. That's an exaggeration. It depends on the stroke, more accurately stroke to rod length ratio.

The OP doesn't have a point really. This all dates back to the mid-70's when the fed required lower compression, smog equipment, single catalyzed exhaust, etc. The problems started in 1971 but by 1973 almost all power was cut in half. By 1976 things were bleak and it took decades to overcome from an OEM standpoint. People still made their cars make stupid sounding noises.

The worst? It's a V8 actually. Ever heard a 5.0 Coyote with straight pipes at 8K? There's a guy that works at the Ferrari restoration shop across the street that has one with a manual transmission and he tries to make our ears bleed daily. Second place is the late 2000's front wheel drive Impala SS a co-worker has...also a V8 with straight pipes. I couldn't drive it.
