The exchange of money and other favors between DA’s, judges and lawyers will never be predicated on justice. I’ve seen enough of this with my own eyes and ears to know they don’t care about the victims rights. They care about staying in the money and favor train. The only way I can see these dirtbags being fairly dealt with is if there were secret, independent star chambers that held their own court, sentencing and execution. The current criminal pampering system is on the side of the bad guys.

Actually the police in this case charged the man with 3rd degree murder, the DA was the one that reduced the charges to misdemeanor assault, and let the guy walk on no bail.

I’d guess that more than 3 were felonies. I would like to see a new ”3 Strikes And Your Out” law where if you are convicted of a 3rd felony the bailiff slits your throat right there. No 20 years on taxpayer food and board while you appealing. I envision a chair that the accused sits in when the verdict is read. If guilty, the bailiff slits his throat and a large metal door under the chair opens and the chair swivels up and drops the body into a truck dumpster in the basement. On a good day we would get a full hauloff load. Safer streets, tax savings, and ending these subhumans from procreating.
