My wife has trouble locking the BCG back on her Arma lite and I can feel the difference between her's and my AR which is custom. Any suggestions on lightening the buffer spring? It is not broken in yet but I was contemplating cutting a coil off the spring but am afraid that it would not cycle right.

Well, go ahead and break it in.
Then see if it needs anything massaged.
I've found that a few hundred rounds of ammo clears up more issues than new parts do.

If you're bored, you can also sit and just cycle the bolt by hand a few hundred times while watching TV and see if that helps.

Cheaper than ammo, and gives you a great head start on break in.

Is she having problems pulling the charging handle all the way back? Or pushing the bolt catch lever while holding the handle back?

If it's the first, buy some dumb bells for her. If it's the latter keep an empty magazine handy to stick in the magwell to lock the bolt open with.

Thanks everyone for the input. The charging handle was flimsy and was binding. My buddy owns a firearms and tactical gear company called ROE Tactical and he hooked me up with a charging handle for her and it works like a dream now. She has no issues charging it all the way and locking the bolt to the rear. I liked it on hers so much I bought myself one too lol. It is a Raptor ambidextrous charging handle

    this is what I got
