So, you want suggestions for a. .22 that you can put a suppressor on?

Or, you want one with an already suppressed barrel?

I have an integrally suppressed Ruger 77/22 that is movie quiet! Being a bolt gun you have no action noise. You actually hear the pin strike, then the impact or ricochet. And And that’s not using sub sonic ammo.

What make is the barrel? Accuracy?

As far as I know it was a factory Ruger that John’s Guns in Palestine suppressed. Accuracy is pretty typical of a Ruger. I just shoot cheap Federal Red box .22 ammo thru it. Never dicked around with other brands or velocities. I bought a gross of that ammo for use in a G3 .22 conversion kit.

I also have a Ruger MKII pistol they suppressed. It's louder with the action noise and shorter can. You can cover the bolt with your thumb to cycle it manually. That makes it slightly quieter.

Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle with Dead Air Mask and CCI Standard Velocity (1070 fps) (used to be $0.07/round); nearly movie quiet.

    10 rounds @ 53 yds
    Inner ring is 1” diameter

Look for a bolt action, lever action, slide action, or single shot. They will be the quietest with a can.

Semiauto’s will generate action noise….you never realize how loud it is until you have a can on the barrel.

CCI standard Velocity is subsonic so you will have the best opportunity for stealth. High velocity rounds, 17hmr, 22mag will be supersonic and still generate the crack even though the usable blast is mitigated.

I have a Remington 597 AAC-SD. It’s basically a POS gun with a horrible trigger, but it worked for a similar situation. I was shooting ground hogs in a campground, and no one was the wiser.

And I gotta add: for the money a guy can put into a 22lr he can also put that money into a 300 blackout bolt action and can or a 308 bolt action and can. A 308 and 300 blackout are virtually identical when sub sonic but you can take that 308 and stretch it’s legs if you had to with supersonic loads. Plus the 30 cal bullets should drift less. I have been thinking hard about using sub loads in my tc compass 308.

Any bolt action .22 with subs and a can is stupid quiet.
But will the kill a coyote? Probably not. As mentioned above a 30 cal bolt or single shot with a can is a much better choice.
    40-50 grain at ≈1000 FPS vs 200 gain at ≈ 1000 FPS.
30 cal will have 6X more energy at the same speed. Granted a good 30 cal can will cost more, but not all that much if you shop around.
