Suppressed 40 SW

Looking for some input for anyone using a suppressor with 40 SW.

Pros and cons?

I have a Silencerco Osprey .45 I use.

Works fine, just don't use any of my suppressors very often.

Doesn't make alot of sense to use them if you are at a range around others. You still need hearing protection because of them.
At least that's my thoughts.

I've encountered no problems (Glock 23, Osprey 45) whatsoever.

I just fit a Bar Sto barrel, and suppressor height sights into my .40 xdm but have yet gone out to shoot it. 180gr out of 5 inch or less should stay sub sonic. So far the Rugged obsidian 45 has made everything pretty quiet from 22, 9mm, 45, 300blk. I expect no less in .40.

I built one to use on both my carbine's. Just had to work up some loads that would stay sub-sonic being shot out of rife barrels.
200 gr coated hard cast bullets and 3.1 gr of Titegroup did the trick.
