I recently purchased a nice SxS shotgun. When I load a shell, it slips behind the extractor. It's Spanish made
Is it a worn extractor? Or has to do with bore diameter?

    Oh boy...
Can anyone enlighten me on the usage of such a load? Worth keeping the gun?

Haha you really like your Star Wars.
Is it same or worse than a .30-06?

The Mighty 10 is a stomper.
Those big doubles are kinda heavy and that helps some with recoil.
Recoil pad and a thick jacket will be your new best friends.
Its been a while since I fooled around with one so there may be lighter loads available nowadays.
Back when I hunted with it the only ammo available was full power 3.5" stuff.
It wasn't something you wanted to shoot more than a few times in a day.

Maybe I can get into sand hill crane and goose hunting.
What common caliber could you compare the recoil to?

To me its about like a heavy magnum rifle like a 300 Wthby or 338Win or heavy .45-70, etc.
Its not gonna break your arm but do have the stock into your shoulder properly or your arm will hate you.

I have a magnum .50 muzzle loader. Kicks about the same or harder than .30-06
