Synthetic motor oil for diesel trucks?

Amsoil. If not Amsoil then Royal Purple. My experience has always been with Amsoil and it's amazing.

I would stay away from Royal Purple in diesel, I have heard of people with Low oil pressure lights on once the engine gets hot while using Royal Purple. I think that would be especially bad in a diesel. I would use Rotella personally. Maybe Mobil 1 if they had an oil for diesel's, but I use Mobil 1 in everything I have.

If I remember right rotella is a blend. It isn't expensive enough to be full synthetic.

I'd stay away from rotella. It tends to smell. At least the conventional stuff did. Not sure about the synthetic.

Rotella Blue... synthetic... for anything hauling a load.
