Armadillo tacos on the half shell. Now thats some fine eating.

Yeah, I'll have a half dozen a those Hansen's Tacos please.

Back in the old days when dillos would tear up the pastures they would often find themselves on the other side of a .22 40grainer and become chili or taco meat. Favorite way to serve those to out-of-towners was on a preserved dillo shell. Not the easiest to cleanup but was a great way to get reaction from the "feriners"

Sent the wife out for tacos or menudo. Really wanted menudo because my adenoids are bothering me. Had one each of the following. Needless to say as I pick my teeth it was a tantric taco Tuesday

Plus the one the wife got the sack was $17.00. While looking @ property I check out how far to the grocery store & I'm surprised at how many La Michoacana Meat Markets there are in smaller towns.

looks like carnitas type tacos for us tonight. Roasted a shoulder Sunday/Monday night, fixing to throw some in a pan and crisp them up a bit.

One of my standbys when I know the wife ain’t eating is Grits with Chicharonnes. You need the real ones not Frito Lay bullshit ones. In a skillet or sauce pan equal parts water, chickaronnes, red picante sauce.Boil the 3 with a little salt until tender to your liking. Next goes grits & American cheese.

Basically it’s like Low Country Shrimp and Grits, but more white trash Tex mex
