I was never deployed, and unit was coming back from the sand-box when I checked in...

Was any other Marine issued anything that mounts to their helmets?

Is that a newer thing, like NVG mounts the Army has had for years shown all over the video?
(Then again we were still in woodland camo, and nobody really even had the digital-camo when I was in...
and nothing was in desert camo, only saw a few desert-camo pack covers that slipped over the woodland-camo ALICE packs, and issued the old M17 and M17A2 gas-masks, and boots were still black.)
