    What I know about it:
Way easy to upload pictures ( and the biggest reason I want it)
Can't see sig lines (doesn't matter either way honestly)
Fancy sig on your post (sent via yada yada tapatalk, again doesn't matter)

Is there any other big +/-s I am missing? I do 100% of my surfing on my phone and posting pictures directly is a feature I really desire. If there was a simple way to post pictures w/o a host site I wouldn't be asking about it.

Also, I saw there is a Tapatalk II. Any thoughts on that?

One more stupid question. I have never bought an app and I assume the $2.99 is a one time fee (as opposed to a monthly fee). Please correct me if this is wrong.

That right there is what makes it all worth it. Much simpler navigation for forums that have tapatalk enabled.

From what I saw, it looks very similar to tapatalk (original) and I saw no reason to "upgrade" to it and pay for it all over again. BUT if you're buying it for the first time, I don't see a problem with going there (though I have not researched tapatalk ii extensively).

It's a one time fee only, and as long as you use the same account, you can download it across multiple devices if you have more than one.

Most importantly yes, it's a one time fee.

FYI you can only upload 31 tapatalk hosted photos, after that they're hosted on the forum.

Other pluses are you can see the most current topics very easily. Also lots of other forums use tapatalk.

    No thoughts on Tapatalk II

You don't have to zoom in to click a link. No extra crap on the screen.

Easily manage several forums at a time. Just over all much better that safari browsing.

    Way out here
After using Tapatalk (I have Tapatalk 2), I would rather be stabbed in the eye with a fork than try to go back to pinching and zooming on the browser-based version. It is 5-bagillion times easier to read using Tapatalk. The push notifications are awesome, too. Every time someone posts something in the Guns section of the Classifieds, I get a beep instantly. Talk about first dibs!

It basically means where the image is stored.

The only way for a photo to disappear is to edit your post and delete it.

+1 on tapatalk. After a year of use I actually prefer it to web based forum reading. For the cost of 3 7.62 rounds it is worth it.

So I can delete photos out of my attachments on Tapatalk (guess that is how it works) and they stay where they were posted? If so, cool.

Keep it... I have to settle with zooming in and out, etc. on my Blackberry. You're lucky to have that feature available.

I have both Tapa and Tapa 2. The Tapa2 interface changed enough that in 4 months, I still default to the original.

How good is it. I'm using tapa within reach of my laptop. I generally tapa by iPad, but it's charging and ...

Hands down the best money I've spent on an app.
