Picked up one of these for the wife at the Houston gun show January 2. She needed something a little smaller for purse carry. We took it to the range for a quick workout before an out of town trip. We shot about 60 rounds mixed 124+P GDHP and moderate power reloads. Functioned perfectly, no FTF, / FTE, slide locked back on last shot every time, etc. For a smaller frame, the recoil was very tame.
The gun is very pointable with a comfortable grip. Accuracy was good with best 5-shot group about 1" from 7 yards offhand. I liked the trigger finger rests on the side of the frame to reinforce "finger off the trigger until sights on the target". The guns offers flexible carry options with manual safety / decocking lever. I am partial to external triggers, so not crazy about the striker-fired mechanism, but it's not my carry gun. :-)
Overall , I have a very favorable first impression of our first Taurus product. We will see how it performs over the long haul as we put more rounds downrange.
