howdy have a taurus model 66 and last sunday I shot about 100 rounds of 38 special and now the cylinder is very hard to open. I can hit it lightly with my palm and it will open. Tonight I cleaned the heck out of it and the same thing happens. The release button works fine. Its like its catching on something.
    Any ideas?

A friend of mine had one that did that! It was the little pin in the cylinder axle sticking. I took it apart and polished it up and it worked fine. Taurus Q-C is not to good down there in Brazil.

There is one screw on the front of the frame that has a recess in it, you remove it and the whole thing comes out of the frame. Then you just unscrew the axle I think it is left hand thread(it has been awhile since I did this) just don't use to much force on it. But once you get the cylinder assembly out press on the detent on the center part where you load the shells in and see it is fells rough. That is the part that sticks.
I will try to find some photos and post the.
