A friend of mine has a daughter and grandson. The young lady had gone to court for child support. The court set the child support and ordered the father to get insurance for the son as well. The court order is from January and the father still has not signed up for the insurance in accordance with the court order.

If the father was in the Army, I would tell them to go to the father's CO. Since he works in the TDCJ, I am not certain what to suggest. Does anyone here know the best office or person in a TDCJ unit for them to contact and get the paperwork started for the insurance?

    Thanks for you time.

    That place east of Waco....
Go back to the judge to show non-compliance and ask to file for garnishment of wages in the amount of the insurance policy premium. Once the garnishment is in effect, use the proceeds to purchase the appropriate policy.
This....and alert the Attorney General's Office. They like cases like this....
