    Howdy..
I have a Picatinny laser mount that is 'loose' on the rail.

The design is TDI industries model BK-1 Flashlight,Laser,Mount ,BK1

It is a polymer material that has 'worn' down a bit (from use/abuse in the sandbox) and can't hold my laser true. There are no adjustments to the mount which would tighten it on the Picatinny rail...

So, what do you do with mounts that have started to wear? Replace? Or do you have another 'option' in mind?

I don't want to try to melt the polymer.. and, of course, would like to retain the accuracy between changes.

"Thanks" in advance for your recommendations...

Howdy, Acera.and, thanks for the reply.

I have tried that.. just a bit of a problem with the oozing adhesive I'm trying to eliminate. Also, the 'movement' continues after a few shots.. guess I need to join the ranks of 'disposability'... and just 'replace' it.... nah...

You could replace it with a metal one but similar to what Acera suggested, you could maybe put some metalic "shim" material (read: cut to fit pieces of sheet metal) that wouldn't ooze or move. Just a thought.

Or you could contact TDI and see what they can do about it. It never hurts to ask.
