Does anyone know of someone teaching about traps and snares in or around the Houston area?

I would read the Texas parks and wildlife site word for word before using either. I'm not sure but I think there is a thin line on using snares. Plus it depends on what your trapping.

I play trumpet so I don't know anything about that but I know a guy around Silsbee that teaches traps, snares, cymballs, base... and all of that stuff. Too far from you though.

Sorry for the hijack. Maybe we can get someone to post who actually knows something about trapping and snaring animals. Although, I've known some musicians who were like animals. LOL

Actually some pretty good info. Been to the DOD Jungle Warefare School twice (I aint right in the head, I know) and it is some good stuff. If you are serious about survival you may want to check out Randall Adventure Training as well, their courses are very high on my "want to do" list.....

This is high on my training list. I have a bunch of his knives and I am waiting for the final version of his Jungle machete to come out. First though is the rest of my tactical gun training through Hoffner and finding a precision rifle school.

Thanks for the link and tip!

No worries. It was funny and I agree.
