Can you tell me about this gun? It's marking say Springfield sitting over Savage and the city and state of savage. Its also says 94B just above the trigger group, which I am assuming is the model number. It's a Single shot break open 2 3/4 12 gauge. What's weird about it is the stock and hand grip is plastic. I haven't been able to find any of the 94b's in 12 gauge and plastic stock anywhere. It's my friends and he was wanting to know the worth of it. Bother he and I realize it's probably not worth anything much. His dad gave it to him and he just wanted info on it.

Stevens made those types of plastic stocks in the late 40s early 50 i believe. they were bought out by savage. his old 22/410 had the plastic stocks on it. Not sure where springfield came in to the picture. you might check stevens history
