2005 model, 3/4 ton, Cummins. You can pull the 4x4 lever anywhere in under 80mph. The transfer case is synchronized. Didn't believe it either until a Dodge rep said it would....Ok...

I jammed it in 4x4 doing 65+. Several times. Engaged, not engaged, engaged. He was right.
