Although I would say you shouldn't fixate, even driving a car, racing and riding are quite different. You know where the traffic is heading in a race.

If your gas gauge stopped working back in the day. Put a glass marble down the filler tube into the gas tank. When you hear the marble rolling around. Time for more gas.

Right after the sun sets. About a couple hours. Grasshoppers bed down for the day. They hang on the tops of Johnson grass. Using a spot light. You can pick them off like grapes. Even those 3" long Basturds that dive bomb you during the day and think it's funny.

They keep if you stick them in an outdoor refrigerator. Once they warm up. They start "Clicking". Put them back in the frig and they go back in status. Most of them...
