Warm up the phone lines, boys...the Senate has to suspend the rules in order to consider any bill out of numerical order. Takes 18 votes to do it, and word is we have one RINO that's gonna vote against doing so - anything to stop it.

What we have right now is an allegation on the "No" vote without a specific name. Working on getting it, but nothing so far. I WILL tell you this - from the Governor on down, light the fires and make your voice heard, loud and clear!! There's some that I think NEED to be reminded who they work for - and those in our corner already won't mind a polite encouragement to stay the course.

I have an interest in this bill and the age permitted. I have two sons still under 21. Would like them able to carry.

Did the version that passed the house end up with 18 with or 21 as the youngest age?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking yes they might be able to carry, just that federal law would kick in that they would still have to be 21 to buy a handgun, but if gifted one, then possibly yes they could carry.

That's purely a guess though. I'm not even sure if age has been addressed yet.
