    I do like it when people are intellectually honest enough to openly state what they want.

    My objection to these folks is that they never think the process through. If you convene a convention, there's no way to limit the agenda to one issue so the entire Constitution is open for revision.

    In this case, though, that's not a problem. This lady wants to rewrite the whole document, anyway.

    God, what an idiot!

    Where's a good facepalm graphic when you need it?

    [h=2]"Texas A&M Law Prof wants to repeal 2nd Amendment and rewrite Constitution."

    Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp announced today that Texas A&M University has acquired all operational aspects of the Fort Worth law school that is currently part of Texas Wesleyan University and has authorized the start of classes there Monday, Aug. 19 under the name of the “Texas A&M University School of Law.”
    [/h]That "law" professor of an extreme liberal bent will soon meet the wrath of the A&M Board of Regents.

    Good idea. Here's the new second amendment: "Upon punishment of death, the right of the people to keep and bear any and all arms shall not be infringed."

    Why do these people have jobs?!! I read this morning that a pronounced socialist who is an economics professor at a university in Oregon won a city council election. How the hell does a socialist economist have a job teaching in the United States?

    “Why do we keep such an allegiance to a constitution that was driven by 18th Century concerns?

    I wonder if she feels the same about the 1st amendment?

    Malloy also said he hopes the federal government will ultimately put into place laws that allow states that have chosen to properly regulate gun ownership to have a legal framework to prevent those guns from getting into their state.

    Yeah, more laws ought to scare those criminals straight!!! I wonder how all those drug laws are doing in keeping those BANNED items out of Connecticut?

    What a bunch of hot air!!!

    The same way a Community Organizer becomes president.

    It is funny how time after time people fall under the spell of Socialism, as if this time it's going to be better. This time, we are going to make it work.
    I can understand how a "have not" looking for food and shelter will back it. A hungry and exposed man will generally do anything for food and shelter.
    But the only reason I can see why an educated, successful person would support socialism has to be out of the need for control of others. There is just no other explanation.

    On paper and in their hearts, it feels good.
    Good = right.
    Right = universal.
    Universal = everyone must have....
