Texas bill criminalizing use or possession of "expanding" hollow point bullets..

I just saw a quick minute discussing this on YouTube.. Sounds crazy to me seeing that this is the most common defensive bullets used to day by everyone, police and civilian alike.
I'm assuming it's DOA, but will be worth watching who supports this bill.

If a criminal requires use of a firearm to stop his criminal activity, there should be no limit on the weapon used.

Someone should ask the person who proposed the bill, if they plan to ban it for Law Enforcement and the Military as well. Then ask if they support innocent victims being shot if the round does not expand in a bad guy, and why they don’t care for the safety of others and only support military grade ball ammunition being used on the streets, knowing it’s clearly ammunition of war.
