Applied for a new LTC on Dec. 4
    Fingerprints done on Dec. 8
LTC status changed to mailed today, Dec. 22
Just updating on this, I got my LTC in the mail today, Dec. 24.
So 20 days total from application to getting it in the mail. I'm pleasantly surprised it was this quick, and just in time for Christmas too!

Almost as fast as my renewal, but sure beats the 7 weeks in 2015, and at that time I was told that was fast.

I've not applied for renewal yet, but I keep wondering what the advantage is to having the license now that the state allows carry without one. Did I miss something?
Signage has some advantages and of course not having to wait on a background check at many FFL's. The cost isn't a deal breaker with me, and I was able to renew mine online.
