This old gal met God yesterday. Hard, sad day around the house. Big hole in my heart. Time heals all wounds but I never get used to this crap. Our other mutt is 12. The prospect of doing this again in a couple years is ugly.

Scout and I did a 7.2 mile walk today on the riverwalk. He’s too young to run that far yet but still want to get him socialized and accustomed to all the sights and sounds.

What kind of tortoise? When I was growing up, my grandpa and grandma had a Herman’s Tortoise (yeah, his name was Herman) that free roamed their house, and I always wanted one. I’ve looked at sulcatas, and others, but I really want a Herman’s!
