This old gal met God yesterday. Hard, sad day around the house. Big hole in my heart. Time heals all wounds but I never get used to this crap. Our other mutt is 12. The prospect of doing this again in a couple years is ugly.

My old cat, he's 16 or 17. His name is Scare and he's been one of my best buds across the years. Ruler of the roost and definitely knows the right type of "meow" to throw at me when I'm feeling out of sorts.

She is really possessive with her blanket. If my daughter tries to use it she will pull it off of her.

But she usually lays on top of it.
