I would like to know how many of you that are Texas LTC instructors would want to be allowed to teach out of state if and when you chose too?
While I am currently waiting to be assigned a Texas LTC instructor class, I have obtained my certification to teach Illinois AND Maryland LTC classes. Soon it is possible I may be allowed to teach two other states LTC classes here in Texas as well.
Why shouldn’t we be able to teach Texas LTC classes out of state to those who wish to apply for a non-resident Texas LTC?
Legislation will be introduced in the next session to allow this possibility.
Interestingly enough, I have taught over 30 people for Illinois. I have 40 interested people for Maryland if NY looses the SCOTUS case. I have 15 possible students out of state I could teach Texas LTC too once I am approved by Texas, and the legislation passes.
