The only thing I found was this passage that was posted on a facebook page by "Gun Rights Across America Texas"

The "Texas Leaders Coalition For Gun Rights" has been formed.

There are currently 45 states in the union which have legalized open carry of a handgun for law abiding citizens! Texas, which supposedly has a reputation for being a very "firearms friendly" state, is not included in those states allowing open carry. As a direct result of H.B. 700 dying in committee in Texas's last legislative session, Eric Reed (President/Founder of Gun Rights Across America) has taken initiative by reaching out to some of the other largest gun rights organizations in the state, and their leaders have agreed to join forces to pass open carry.

Other organizations in the Texas Leaders Coalition include: "Come And Take It, Texas Carry, Texas Firearms Freedoms, American Gun Rights, Texan Gun Rights, Ladies of Liberty, 1 Million Moms Against Gun Control, One Million Moms and Women For the 2nd Amendment, Texas III% Patriots, and Moms With Guns Demand Action" to name a few. This is a tremendous grass roots effort, and these group leaders are putting their groups agendas on the "back burner" to get this proper and vital piece of legislation passed.

“This is long overdue! We the law abiding citizens of Texas are no longer requesting an open carry law, we are demanding it! We know there's challenges faced when creating any new piece of legislation, but we only lose if we quit. Hear our voices Austin. We the people are coming.” – Eric Reed
