This came up in conversation today. Does anyone know what TPWD issues as their standard sidearm.

The conversation came down to it being a Glock, but then there was no agreement on model/caliber. Is Glock even right and does anyone know the model and caliber?

There are three that frequent the burger joint I have lunch at on a regular basis and all three carry Glocks. I have seen other TPWD Officers in other places and they too are all carrying Glocks.

Different departments different idea's on cal. choice. But, IMHO I think wardens are probably more "firearm" experenced overall than a park ranger. Probably many people would debate this but seems to fit to me after working with both.
