A lot to see and do. It is well worth the price of admission. Go to Randall's or Woodforest bank to buy the tickets and save $5. Or you can buy and print on the website and save about $3.

    Ded Bob is a must.
    Oscar Hasselhof's class is good.
Fast for three days before you go so you have room for all the various foods you will want to have. (Turkey Legs, you got to do the turkey legs)
And if you can stay for the fire works.

    Went Last Year.

My wife and I took a day trip there last year to check it out for the first time. It was interesting. Lots of stuff to see and especially if you like to people watch like I do. It was kind of cool to watch others reactions to some of the costumes people would wear. I've hear its the largest Renfair in the country with all the acreage.

Some shows are less children friendly than others so be careful if you decide to take the little ones.

Have fun. It's all about trying to live in another reality.

Both the GF and I go every year, even though it's not normally my cup o tea - I have a helluva time! We always do the "Kings Feast" every year as well, talk about being stuffed! This year we went opening weekend.

It's been close to 20 years since I've been to the one down there.

I'd love to take my daughter some day. It's pretty cool.

There is or was one up here closer to Dallas as well.

The Dallas area big one is Scarborough Faire in the spring.

The Smithville group is getting ready for the return to the Rocky hill site. That was a small one but it has potential.
