Having different ideology, or being a little left leaning doesn't bother me, or who an artist supports of voted for, doesn't bother me. That is entirely a personal decision and preference.
What does bother me is an artist, or celebrity trying to shove it down my throat, or making me out to be a bad person because I have different opinions, or that their opinions are more important than mine. Or if they are constantly pushing their politics with their music.
I still listen to Tim McGraw, and even Garth Brooks. Yes they lean towards the left, but so far they don't seem push their agenda that I can tell.
I listen to all of them, Even Timmy, even though he gets a bit preachy at times when asked.
Preachy about differing views when asked is one thing. Unsolicited Lecturing is quite another.

Exactly. If you ask a person their opinion, then I'm totally cool with that. But some artists are using their concerts for a political platform to preach their viewpoints or opinions. That ain't cool IMO.
