Without a location, brand/type and quantity, it's hard to reach any conclusion about that. For example, a box of 20 Tula FMJ is no bargain at $12. Houston: 18 months ago, WWB 100 round Value Pack in .45ACP FMJ was $31.95 at Walmart. Last August it went to $36.95, then 39.95 and out of stock. If it went back to $31.95 I would be quite happy, but I don't expect I'll ever see that.

Picked up 6 boxes of 9mm Tula from Walmart in Tyler County at $10 a box over the past couple of days. It was a single shipment of no less than 14 boxes that lasted in stock for at least 3 days.

WWB, 50 rnds, 12-13$ in Hillsboro.

Either way, it's Pre "stupid" price. I picked up 2 100 rnd boxes of WWB 45 ACP at the same store for $36 but didn't have a .45 before the shortage so I have to take your word on previous pricing.

They usually have .40 S&W lately at the same price/100 on WWB. Pretty close to what it was last year.

Went to Gander in Spring today. It was stocked like I haven't seen since ... well, since a long time. Cases and cases of .223, entire shelves packed with 9mm of all types... of course, practically no .380 and I didn't look for every caliber, and of course most of it was at typical Gander Mountain pricing, so you may not want to rush down to buy, but if you were totally out and needed something right now, it looks more promising than I've seen in a long time.

I was in a store in Anniston, AL yesterday and the shelves were fully stocked with everything but 22lr. FMJ, HP, defense rounds from all the popular manufacturers. Owner said the only thing he was having trouble stocking was 22. Too bad I have no way to get it back to Texas.... :-(

the signs hanging from the top shelf. Do they still say "limit one box per caliber, 3 boxes per customer per day"?

Is it back in stock there most of the time, or still you have to catch it right? Any particular days better than others? More importantly, have you seen any 22 there?

academy lifted limits on everything but 22lr and 9m. The new limit is 2, or 1 bulk pack. No limit anymore on how many calibers you purchase. everything else (45, 223, 556, 380, etc) is back on the shelf in the normal area and you can get as many boxes as you want. They were out of 45 and 380 though. but since there is no limit the pipeline must be there. I would imagine new shooters are buying extra stock and gutting. As long as more is coming go for it.
