    One of the selling points of the M16 was its light weight. Now they're so loaded up with junk they weight more than a real rifle.

    .30 caliber or better for a real rifle. I think Jeff Cooper refered to .223s as "poodle shooters".

    I generally try to look very non-commital when presented with someone's decked-out Zombie Special....frankly, I wonder where the blazes they put all the batteries!;) In my mind, the fewer gadgets, the less the chance of a problem. Then again, I don't have lasers on ANY of my guns, so....
