The bacon tenderizer is complete! (.45-70 NEF handi rifle)

    I managed to get a set of sights for my .45-70 handi rifle. Got them from a member from another online forum.

    I got 2 different front sights and a Williams FP rear sight for $35! Looks way better than the craptastic BSA red dot that came with the rifle.

    I’ll post some groups after I manage to get it sighted in. This is mostly going to be a brush gun and target rifle. I’m probably going to leave the synthetic stock and forearm as is other than adding a side saddle for hunting.

    Of the 2 sights I was given, the factory handi rifle sight was the only one that fit due to variations in screw sizes over the years if handi rifle production.

    Not too shabby at all...

    I may wind up getting a suppressor in the future for it...

    Looks good. I'm still planning on chopping and threading mine too.
