The favorite button is automatic

Why is the favorite button automatic whenever you post to a thread? Its kinda of annoying TBH.

You can change the setting in your UserCP, under General. See attached:

Every time I post to a thread it automatically is added to favorites. In using tapatalk as well. I don't have this problem on other forums so I don't think it's an app issue.
