I just bought a .40 S&W Lee die set with crimper. I didn't think I could find one, everyone was nearly sold out. I have reloaded for a few years, but never any auto rounds. Any pointers or do's and don't

I have loaded since about 1977. Started with shotgun in high school and graduated to metalic cartridges in College. Now I cast my own bullets, load on a Dillon and Just got my MEC shotgun loader up and running yesterday. I cast about 10 different pistol bullets and 5 rifle bullets.

Tips on Auto pistol loading- Taper crimp as a separate operation from bullet seating. Get a case gauge or pull the barrel and use it to chamber check.
