Second Amendment advocates scored a string of victories in recent years to expand to 25 states the right to carry a concealed handgun without a permit or what’s known as “constitutional carry.” The trend is poised to continue and tip the balance to more than half the U.S. with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, pledging to get a constitutional carry law through the GOP-run legislature.

We've got about a month to wait for SCOTUS' decision in NYSRPA
that will be extremely important going forward for carry in the USA

Constitutional carry (I agree with the abbreviation "CC") is not always "the dream"
Texas is an example of that, Texas has made CC a stripped-down version of licensed carry, and left it so that if you are smart, you will get your license in Texas, because it confers important legal advantages.

But yes, the normalization of carry across the USA will be the most important development in gun rights in a very long time.

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a rare win out of Massachusetts in the matter of Commonwealth v. Donnell, but more importantly, what does this ruling mean for the prospects of national Constitutional Carry? The reasoning of the court is so sound and straight forward that this could very well be the catalyst for a major push to finally get some uniformity throughout this country as it relates to your right not so much to keep an arm, as much as your right to BEAR an arm. So learn more and arm yourself with education today.

Ok - I wanna go on record here.

As peachy as all this is, there should be no need for any of it.

The Second Amendment does not GIVE us the RIGHT to "keep and bear arms".

Our right comes from the same source that gives us breath, and life, and the right to self defend. A natural right, a human right, call it God given if you want.

The Second Amendment says only the Government shall not infringe on our natural right to keep and bear arms.

Unlike other codified Rights - it really doesn't matter if the Second Amendment is ever nuked or not - because it "gives" us nothing we don't already have - and the Government has been infringing for generations.

You wanna celebrate concealed carry laws? Go ahead. Keep reinforcing the idea that this was a "given" right via the Second Amendment. Just remember that anything "given" can be taken away. And it is, slowly, law by law... allowing you to do what you never needed permission to do in the first place. Like breathe.

/rant ~ And yeah. I know. But it still bows my neck. ~
