Sad thing is, in Texas, the Party of Never-Ending Excuses is the GOP. If the Republican Party of Texas were really the home for conservatives / conservatism, shouldn't we see a lot more conservatism in a state that's 99-100% run by Republicans?
They do throw us a bone from time to time though. And I like a lot of what I hear came from the State Convention last week.
