Robert Blake, Randy Quaid and Sondra Blake (I was thinking it was Shirley McClain, but googled to make sure) I thought was better. Had to watch it for freshman or sophomore english. The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise
Of Mice and Men with Gary Sinise and John Malkovich
His voice was too irritating in that movie! It was too girley!I would never speak ill if The Duke, and think he was a great Rooster, but Bridges was impeccable in every way.
"How many men have you killed?"

They'll probably have Jamie Foxx as Rockford! That will be a pile of shit for sure!Cannot agree, bubba.
I like Sci-Fi movies. So, I have been tempted again lately to sit down and try to sit through all of Dune being I can bring it up on demand at any time but I just cannot bring myself to do so. I have tried watching several times before but it just does not seem worth the time to watch it all the way through. Maybe a remake would hold my interest.I'm awaiting the release of the new Dune movie remake.
There have been very few movies (I think only two) during the watching of which I have gotten up and left the theater because I thought they were terrible and the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still is the preeminent one of those. The other was one of the Alien sequels, maybe the third one, which somehow I liked when I watched it all the way through on TV years later.Although I like the 1951 version of "The Day The Earth Stood Still", I do believe the 2008 version is better.
Oh, I don't know. Michael Caine is one of my favoritesI think the remake of The Italian Job was somewhat better than the original.
Man- that was a good movie. Can’t imagine an improvementI’d like to see a remake of The Thin Red Line.
That dreck from 1998 doesn’t count.
IMO i thought both versions were very well done, and kind of toss-up which one was better.Oh, I don't know. Michael Caine is one of my favorites

Mentioning Jack Black the remake of Day of the Jackle comes to mind too!Wait!! A bad-ass 2004 ish King Kong. Great film with Jack Black
Having seen both, both are excellent movies. The remake was IMO as good as the first one.Mentioning Jack Black the remake of Day of the Jackle comes to mind too!
Never saw the original, but if you are saying the one with Shannon Elizabeth is better I can roll with that. I never get tired of looking at her.
The original Godzilla movies (and most of the followup ones) where the special effects look like they were done by a 4th grader are the best.
Some of them you can actually see the wires holding up the monsters !

The car was cool though. Movie was crap. The original TV show of the Green Hornet with Van Williams and Bruce Lee was a pretty decent show. The movie with Seth Rogen and Jay Chou was a crap pile. The only decent parts were when Cameron Diaz and Edward James Olmos were on the screen.
