The state of things in Abilene

When I was growing up on Long Island NY in the 60's there was two very large hospitals for the insane, Pilgrim State and Central Islip. Both have been closed down for a lot of years, abandoned buildings.

I think it was Geraldo Rivera's expose of Willowbrook that brought about the beginning of the end of those.

Just some thoughts.
He did have his legs crossed like a lady
the cigarette made the whole outfit pop.

We have one here that walks up and down a main highway thru town every day.
Dragging one of those rolling suitcases and ALWAYS nose in phone.
