I tell you once I bought his book " American Sniper" I didn't put it down until I finished it in full. Rather than opting with Tactical jargon his experiences are more shared in his fighting in areas like Ramadi, Fallujah and other hot beds around Iraq. I found that he also painted a good overall vision of mental toughness and strain during his tenure in the Seals. This book is a good read and God rest his soul. He died doing what he loved best.

My daughter gave the book to me for fathers day. Finished it in a day.

Knowing his fate, I found reading the book a little awkward. He wrote about his feelings of death from the perspective of one ..... well, read the book.

I picked up this at the bookstore the other day. Good book for a novice, but not much new information in it for me to buy.

However if you know someone getting into the sport, it might be a good gift.
